Go2MarketEdge 2026, which took place Aug. 4-6 in Silicon Valley, California, focused on transforming theoretical applications of artificial intelligence into everyday business routines.  

Attendees heard from industry experts detailing a wide range of AI topics and use cases. And they got up close with cutting-edge technologies during a day of immersive tours to Google, Plug & Play and Stanford University’s Human-Centered Artificial Intelligence (HAI) institute.

Day 1

Go2MarketEdge kicked off at the Computer History Museum in Mountain View, California. The museum showcases computing’s evolution, groundbreaking innovations, and stories of the people who transformed technology and society, making it the ideal setting to launch three days of AI-focused content.

Data to Decisions: Building AI Advantage with Connected Data

Tosh Rayadhurgam, who pioneered use of the AI for such well-known users as Meta, Lyft and Amazon, presented an overview of AI’s capabilities.

Attendees then heard from a panel that included Bailey Gaul, Senior Brand Manager, Kerry; Tony Neuman, Director of Foodservice Marketing, Institutional, Ecolab; moderated by Michael Bortinger, Director of Marketing and Partnerships, Tastewise. The group discussed AI successes and some challenges.

Opening Reception

The opening reception brought attendees together, giving them an opportunity to meet, connect and build meaningful relationships that continued throughout the next two days.

Day 2

The second day of Go2MarketEdge started at The Ameswell Hotel, where participants split into three groups to board shuttles for the day’s immersive experiences. The groups rotated through tours and presentations at Google, Plug & Play and Stanford University’s Human-Centered Artificial Intelligence (HAI) institute throughout the day.

Go2MarketEdge attendees had the rare opportunity to visit Google's campus and hear directly from a Google DeepMind leader on the company's AI research lab. 

Joana Carrasqueira, Product at Google Deepmind, talked about “AI-Powered Foodservice: From Consumer Data to Revenue.” Carrasqueira also told attendees how Google manages to keep its meetings to just 30 minutes.

Stanford University

During the visit to Stanford University, attendees heard from Stanford’s Human-Centered Artificial Intelligence Institute on the responsible development of AI, followed by insights from Amazon on leadership and the product development process at one of the world’s largest online retailers and cloud computing providers. 

Ahmad Rushdi, Director at Stanford HAI, told attendees they should stop asking what AI can do and start asking where there is a lack of efficiency in their organizations.  

Kwesi Edwards, WW Lead Data Migration and Modernization Specialist, AWS and Heather Wright, ISV GTM & Business Advisory Leader. AWS discussed how Amazon approaches product innovation.
