CHICAGO, July 1, 2026 — Aramark has tapped Pat Liebler, formerly head of its Refreshments business-and industry (B&I) operation, to build out the contract service giant’s just-launched venture for managing the foodservices of large B&I facilities like so-called hyperscale AI complexes.

As the CEO and president of Aramark Nexus, Liebler is charged with staking out a presence in the growing niche. The operation will also manage the community support services of the mega-complexes, including employee housing, transportation and entertainment.

“Leading Nexus is a once-in-a-generation opportunity to integrate Aramark’s operational depth across multiple categories into a differentiated business model,” Liebler said via a prepared statement. “This platform is purpose-built to meet the evolving and complex needs of remote operating environments.”

Aramark Nexus was officially launched on April 23.

Liebler has spent 30 years with Aramark. In addition to serving most recently as CEO and president of Aramark Refreshments, a provider of services to more conventional B&I facilities, the Mercyhurst University graduate has held such senior management positions as VP of business retention and development.
