To be considered for a seat on our board, candidates should have an interest in contributing to the future of the food-away-from-home business. Board members are asked to take on the role of "servant leader" to advance our mission to serve the entire industry.
Candidate requirements include:
- Being a manufacturer member in good standing and holding an active senior executive foodservice position with clear corporate decision-making responsibilities.
- Having a history of executive leadership in the food industry, with special consideration given to active engagement with association programs and events.
- Being available to serve for three years; service to begin in January 2026 and may be extended through committee and executive team appointments.
- Agreeing to attend three in-person board meetings annually, engage in committee assignments, and provide occasional program and content development assistance.
- Demonstrating servant leadership attributes and possessing executive leadership authority to meet our principles of shared giving through partnership, sponsorship, and/or event support.

Nominations will be accepted through October 2, 2026.
All members will be asked to vote on a slate of new board directors and officers in October and the 2027 Board of Directors will be announced at the Presidents Conference in early November.
